Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik relationship had been the talk of the town lately, and mother Yolanda Foster shares her thoughts about it for the very first time.
Yolanda, 51, confessed to not meeting her daughter’s boyfriend Zayn Malik yet, as stated below to Entertainment Tonight,
‘I haven’t met him yet,’
She added,
‘Gigi’s 20 years old, loving life, shopping like she should. I haven’t met him yet, so I can’t say anything about it.’
‘Sometimes life just happens.. For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn’t make sense till it does. That’s it.’
‘If there was a real way to sit with each one of you and tell you my side of things, I would,’
She continued,
‘But there’s not, so I won’t. I’ve found the only way to happiness is by living as though the microscope isn’t there.’
Yolanda, on the other hand, had something to say on her personal relationship with husband David in which both decided to file a divorce, as she told to People magazine,
‘Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways, We’ve shared 9 beautiful and joyous years together.’
She added,
‘During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.’
She then concluded,
‘We are grateful for the years we’ve spent together and believe wholeheartedly that we did our best. I hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we’ve learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another.’
