The Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan announced their first newborn daughter named Max on Tuesday.
Having said that, Mark’s love letter to his daughter Max is what touches our hearts the most.
“Max, we love you and feel a great responsibility to leave the world a better place for you and all children,” he wrote. “We wish you a life filled with the same love, hope and joy you give us. We can’t wait to see what you bring to this world.”
With thankfulness he added,
“Thank you to everyone in this community for all your love and support during the pregnancy,” he wrote on Facebook. “You’ve given us hope that together we can build this world for Max and all children.”
In recent July was the original announcement of Chan’s pregnancy that included their patience and struggle in having a baby for years of three miscarriages involved.
In the honor of Max, they included a donation of over 99% of their Facebook shares which currently is worth $45 billion for a purpose of promoting unity for all children in the coming generation, cure for disease, having stronger bond of communities, and so much more.
Max who was born in the Thanksgiving weighing 7 pounds and 8 ounces is indeed a true blessing for the couple. Congratulations to you Mark and Chan!
